Fauna

Idea

Much of the fauna in and around the Yaralon region has been heavily affected by the high concentration of Major Fractures and the Emean presence. These flora are referred to as Tempered Fauna, for while they may seem strange, alien, or monstrous to outsiders, the Yari people view them as superior and hold them in high esteem.

In addition to these, there are the Named Beasts. These creatures are often one of a kind, larger, more dangerous than other creatures in the region. They've often been given names due to their uniqueness. Slaying one of these creatures is an incredibly high honor in Yaralon.

Tempered Fauna

• Yardrae Kitty - Black cats with shadowstep abilities. Very difficult to pet, I'd imagine

Named Beasts

• Standing Man - A tall beast with telekinetic powers.

Other Fauna

• The Kindred - Unexplainable creatures that protect children.
• Massibex Hounds - Large pack Hounds that roam wild through the Cut.
