Raskalarn's Temple
As far as the rest of the temple goes it is decorated with all manner of unique weaponry and arms mounted to the walls. The sparring ring itself is surrounded by a ring of chairs for those who wish to spectate, however each chair with the exception of one is hewn roughly from stone and immensely uncomfortable. This was done intentionally so that anyone who would seat themselves here must exercise discipline lest the squirm like a child showing their lack of Raskalarn's tenants. The one unique chair is raised and decorated with gold designs with crossing blades along the back of the tall throne. This seat is reserved for the Immortal herself should she ever deign to visit the place.
Further back in the temple is, perhaps, another unexpected section; a small library. The leaders of successful mercenary parties are asked to write books of their tactics for future generations to learn from. All manner of books on combat exist here from those on naval tactics to fighting in the open field and so on. All martial knowledge those of Yaralon are willing to share are kept here and watched closely. The only way to gain access to these books is to win a sparring match within the temple, for those who have not the mettle to do combat have no right leading others into it. Or learning unearned secrets.
The last interesting fact about the temple is that there are replica sets of armor for many esteemed generals and warriors who have gone down in legend as some of the greatest conquerors and leaders of all time. Once every seven trials a priest or priestess will don a set of armor and step into the sparring ring and tell the tale of that leader, afterwards they will demonstrate their style of combat, further passing down the knowledge of the world’s greatest warriors.
