Appearance: His brown, greasy hair falls over a round, friendly face with pale green eyes under bushy eyebrows and beside laughlines. A small scar marks the area beside his right eyebrow. His bulbous pug nose is crooked, and looked to be smashed in one too many times.
He's fat from food and drink, but not for lack of exercise as his muscle tone would attest.
Personality: He's got a jolly disposition for a man that is so irretrievably violent and evil. He's never seen to be angry, and when in fights appears to genuinely enjoy himself, like he's never been happier.
Merriam enjoys beating sense into people, and sees physical violence as a mode of endearment. Nothing gets a person in his good graces like a good bar room brawl.
Relationship to PC: Former gang leader and mentor to Vincent. He was the last man holding the lootbag, and the first one to slip off the scene during any of their robberies.
