Appearance

Dorik is of middling height, with fair hair that shows signs of his aging. His face is weathered and his eyes are normally stark blue, though being Biqaj this changes. He has a strong build but is by no means extremely muscular. His skin is a bit paler, not having seen sunlight in a long while. He wears simple clothes, never to be caught in anything elaborate. Beneath his clothes, he is adorned in a full body set of tattoos, none of which are visible outside a simple suit. He tends to keep a well trimmed beard, that is peppered with grey.

Personality

Dorik is a quiet fellow, but when he does talk, he prefers to talk about anything other than himself. He rarely ever gives details of himself or his past. He is shrewd, always looking for an opportunity to improve his life, and he's not one to hesitate about anything. While not outwardly passionate, he is a dedicated individual, throwing himself fully into whatever task he puts himself to accomplishing. He does have a propensity for a variety of vices, however, most of these are not for himself, but rather, he enjoys seeing the corruption and deterioration in others.

History

Not much is known about Dorik's past and he prefers to keep it this way. On Cylus 1st, 719, his birthday, he walked out of Slags Deep a free man, with nothing more than the suit on his back and the coins in his pocket.that he walked in with. He chose to not take a wagon to Egilrun, instead, taking a stroll under the Cylus moons. He whistled a tune as he enjoyed the smell of fresh air and the feel of freedom in the first time in ages. His story begins as he crosses the threshold into the village.

Personality: Claudia is a nice woman, always willing to help anyone out. She rarely ever loses her temper, and doesn't often speak ill of anyone. She tends to keep to herself and her shop for the most part.
Role: Claudia is Dorik's fake wife. He took her husband's name when he broke out of Slags Deep, and is now living with her above her simple little herbalism shop. She is his cover for his stolen identity.

Role: Treton is one of the many gate guards of Egilrun. He is an informant and friend of Dorik.

Personality: Marl is a straight forward man. He spent thirty arcs in Slags Deep, and came out whistling. Once out, he built a small shoemaking business in Egilrun. He has worked hard to maintain his reputation as a shrewd, but honest dealer. He is open and honest about his criminal past, and is working to move forward past that.
