What is your Name? | Finnegan Bond, although most people just know me by my last name.
Do you go by a nickname or pet name? | Some people have taken to calling me "Vaga" to go along with my last name. Humorous play on words.
How old are you? | Thirty-Three as of Ashan 720
What is your height? |An even six feet, but don't think I don't tell some of the women in my life that I'm closer to six two.
What is your weight? | Fluctuates between the 160 and 180 mark, depending on the time of year and how often I spend near the towns.
Aesthetics
Describe yourself as you see yourself. | An adventurer in the most mundane interpretations of the word.
Describe yourself as others typically see you. | An affable transient.
What is your favorite body feature? | My beard and the various ways I can groom it.
How physically fit are you? | I'd say that I'm laborer strong, with a body that doesn't outright display the strength beneath the skin.
How do you typically dress and what is your style? |Stylish utility, if that's even a concept. I like to wear clothes that I can work in, but at the same time wouldn't look amiss among the "more civilized" populations.
Family
Who are your parents and what are they like? | Eamon and Lorrie Bond. Da was a stevedore in Almund and Ma raised the brood at home. Unlike me, they're settled folk, comfortable in the roles life has provided them.
Do you have any brothers or sisters? | Four brothers and three sisters, me being the second oldest. Eamon Jr moved to Rynmere years ago; we haven't heard from him since the Kingdom was quarantined. My younger siblings are in various positions and roles across the island, hard to keep track of really.
What is your extended family like? | Not really much of one. Da was orphaned during the years of the Pirate Lords and Ma was an only child. No grandparents left to speak of, and no cousins that I could tell any familiar resemblance to.
Do you consider close friends as important or more/less important than family? | Friendship is a choice whereas family is a lottery system, but I do hold them both in equal regard.
Do you treat animals like family? | The ones that I have chosen to be in my life, yes. There no less deserving of respect just because they walk on four legs 'stead of two.

Where were you born? | Almund
Where do you live now? | Where ever I end up on the island come nightfall.
If you could live anywhere in Idalos where would that be? | All the Biqaj I've met over the years have always spoken fondly of Ne'haer, so I'd say there just for hypothetical's sake.
Do you have a favorite place to vacation or spend leisure time? | Any one of the beaches on the island. Nothing more relaxing than the waves crashing against your bare feet.
Where do you fear to be? | I'd say on the precipice of death, though I haven't actually experienced that sensation yet.
Traits
Do you have any physical weaknesses (disease, scars, and missing limbs?) | None but the average scars befitting a man who had once been a rambunctious child.
Are you right handed or left handed? | Left handed when I write, though by necessity I've gotten comfortable using my right hand in most things besides that.
What languages do you speak? What do you sound like? Do you have an accent? | Common and a bit of Rakahi. I guess you could say its a deeper voice compared to others; all relative, though, right? As for an accent, I've never noticed it, but someone from halfway across the world probably thinks I sound different than they do.
Do you have any odd mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? |None that come to mind; perhaps this is a question to asked one of my siblings, or my parents. I'm sure they have a few ready to fire off.
Do you have (or want to get) any tattoos or piercing? | Why do you have them (or will get them)? None of either at the moment, though I'm not opposed to a tattoo. They're a way to depict something unique about yourself, something important or special in your life.
Occupations
What is your occupation? | Does professional nomad answer the question? Perhaps seasonal laborer.
Do you like/dislike your work? Why? | I appreciate the variety that comes with it. Complacency is something that I abhor, and I actively work to avoid it, so its hard to settle in any one role.
If you could be anything you wanted to, what would you be? | If you had asked me this when I was ten years old, I would've answered pirate. Now, I'd probably say a well-pampered kept man. Free to do as I pleased as long as I pleased my matron . . . Ah don't give me that look, you'd do it too in a heartbeat.
What occupation do you admire the most? Why? | Caravaneers. They sacrifice the comfort of sedentary mercantilism because they are fully aware that logistics is the most vital port of the economy. There the hardest working, in my opinion, and the men and women I'd prefer to share a beer with.
What occupation do you lest like? Why? |Dentists. The bastards.
Childhood
What sort of child were you? | The trouble-making sort, though not outright disrespectful. Almund wasn’t the best place to find positive mentorship, but I made out well enough.
What is your favorite memory from childhood? | Visiting Immortal’s Tongue for the first time was pretty surreal.
What is your worst memory from childhood? | I watched the The Shark beat me father once for bumping into him while moving cargo one trial. Thought I was going to watch him die before he finally relented.
What sort of relationship did you have with your parents? | Its an amicable one. When I was younger, they encouraged me to settle like they did, but as I got older and they realized I wasn’t interested in that, they laid off. I still visit at least once every time I find myself in Almund.
Who was your most influential role model? | My Da. He taught me that hard work is what one should base their success on, not their societal stature. A lazy nobleman doesn’t deserve half the respect that a dedicated tradesman or laborer deserves. They’re the backbone.
Education
What sort of education do you have? | Only the basic education children receive. I can read, write, and do basic arithmetic. I know the island’s history as well, the broad strokes at least.
Do you like/dislike learning? | I enjoy learning when its outside the traditional academic structure. I don’t consider myself a scholar, that’s for sure.
Where or how did you learn most of your skills/abilities? | Through conversation and mimicry. Most people are willing to teach you something if you ask, and even if they don’t, you can pick bits and pieces up by observation alone.
How do you learn best? | Hands on, that’s for sure.
What are your educational goals for the future? | I won’t be signing up for any courses at the Academy if that’s what you’re hinting at.
Relationships
Do you form close bonds with people? Why? Why not? | Not in the best friend kind of way, more like the favorite uncle who always has the best stories. I’ve been floating about for a decade and a half at this point, and I rarely spend time with the same group for more than fortnight. Hard to develop those kind of bonds.
Do you trust people easily? If not, why not? | For the most part if that person’s reputation does not precede them. I want the same sort of treatment, and its easier to receive it if you provide it yourself.
Do you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else? | Straight
Have you ever been kissed? | If so, describe the first time. The girl next door wanted to make her boyfriend of three trials jealous, and I was happy to assist.
Have you ever had sex? | If so, describe the first time. And risk my parents hearing about it? I’d rather not.
Drugs and Alcohol
Have you ever been drunk? | If so, describe your first time. Seriously, I’d rather not disappoint my Ma. Trust me when I say, though, that I was not the appropriate age, and that it doesn’t taste as good coming back up as it did going down.
Do you like to drink on a regular basis? |Only socially. Its not a habit I keep when traveling
What sort of alcohol do you prefer? The grainy, hearty alcohols. Beer and whiskey especially.
Have you ever tried drugs (mood altering substances)? | If so, which kinds and what did you think of them? Seriously, is my Da just sitting around the corner, listening to all of this?
What do you think of drugs and alcohol? | Be specific. I appreciate the freedom that follows with them. People whose thoughts and senses are often closed off gain an independence for a little bit. Granted, its not always positive for some people, but at least it’s honest.
Likes and Dislikes
What are your hobbies? | Socializing, Fishing, Gambling, Exploring.
Do you like to read? | I do, though it’s a hobby I don’t always get a chance to pursue.
What annoys you more than anything else? | People who dominate the conversation and put others down maliciously.
What do you find the most relaxing activity to do? | Lounging on a beach
What kinds of things embarrass you? Why? | Instances of my own ignorance embarrasses me, especially when it upsets or disappoints other.
Favorites
What is your favorite color or colors? | I really enjoy earthy colors, greens and tans. Your standard, natural palette
What is your favorite time of day? | Sunrise, when there is still a relative quiet hanging about. The entire world seems to be between waking and sleeping in those few moments.
What is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen? | My parents holding hands as they walked down the beach. It’s a beautiful thing, love.
What do you like to eat? What do you hate to eat? | I love hearty, thick meals. Stews, meat and potatoes, that kind of stuff. Not a big fan of citrus fruits. Maybe that would’ve changed had I been a pirate instead.
What is your favorite type of weather? Does any kind scare you? | I actually prefer a drizzling rain, the kind that cuts the heat and humidity. Hate a tornado most of all. They really make you feel powerless in the face of them.
Outlook
Are you optimistic or pessimistic? | I’m optimistic in the sense that I believe there is more good potential in the world opposed to bad, while recognizing that it isn’t always the majority in any one place. I don’t feel hopeless, is what I’m trying to say; the world just needs a lot of work done to it as it stands now.
What are your religious views? | I think it’s a good thing when it’s a person choice. I don’t approve of anyone using someone else against their wills, man or Immortal.
Would you be able to kill? | If it was necessary, I think so.
What are your views on sex? | Same with religion, I find it a good thing when performed with consent.
What, in your opinion, makes a successful life? | To have better the world through it.

What is the worst and best thing you’ve ever done? | Hard to say, really

If you could change one thing about your past, what would it be and why? | I probably would’ve apprenticed somewhere in my youth instead of goofing off, to ply while I traveled.

Emotions
How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings with others? | I’m honest when I think honesty will help in the situation I’m in.
Do you have any biases or prejudices? | I’ve mentioned my distaste for Dentists already, right?
What makes you happy? | Spending a day doing the things I wanted to do that day.
Who or what, if anything, would you die for? | I’m not sure I have anything like that right now. I’ve got more to offer alive than dead.
What makes you angry? | Oppression and corruption when it harms the innocent. We all make choices that will produce consequences, and I hate to see it affect those who did not make the same choice.
Relationships
In general, how do you treat others? | With respect and cordiality until they prove undeserving of it.
Who is the most important person in your life, and why? I mean my parents, but even they only play a small part these days. Guess I don’t really have that kind of absolute right now.
Who is the person you respect the most, and why? | Again, my parents, for the lessons they taught me.
Do you have a spouse or significant other? If not, describe an ideal lover. | Someone who shares the same values as me, of independence and lifting up those who need it.
Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why? | I mean my parents would if it came to it (Immortals Forbid). For the most part, I try to not to put myself in those situations where others would feel the need to risk their health on my behalf.
Group Situations
Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict? | I prefer to deescalate in an effort to avoid conflict. Anger only blinds people’s sensibilities.
Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations? | Only when I feel like I’m the most fit for the role.
Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not? | I love it. Large groups have a special atmosphere that I love to interact with, especially the groups that aren’t so puritan in their language and demeanor.
Do you care what others think of you? | I do if they’re people whose opinions I value. The people I wouldn’t seek advice from, I don’t put a lot of weight in their criticisms.
What do you think of others, in general? | They all deserve a chance to make something of themselves.
Self Image
What is your greatest strength as a person? | My willingness to learn about someone before I pass judgment.
What is your greatest weakness? | Sometimes I give bad people too much leeway.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? | I’d really be six foot two so I wouldn’t have to lie about it.
Are you generally introverted or extroverted? | Definitely extroverted, though I do appreciate having time to myself.
Are you generally organized or messy? | Organized at a mental level. My belongings will usually be cluttered, but I keep everything tidy in my mind.
Beliefs
What God or Goddess do you find most appealing, if any? | U’Frek was the first Immortal I ever thought of worshipping in my youth. Since then, I’ve grown to appreciate the provisions of several others: Aeva, Chamadarst, Ralaith, and Ziell.
Which God or Goddess do you fear, if any? | Fear isn’t the right word so much as I deplore the ones that seek to harm. Aelig, Audrae, Edasha, Faldrun, Kata, Mastes, Raskalarn, Sintra, Syroa. They all stand for beliefs and actions that damage mankind
Do you have any Marks? If so, how did you receive them? | I do not have any marks to speak of.
What lengths would you go to to please your deity? | Short of my life, I’m willing to assist any positive change brought about by the Immortals if I’m asked.
Where do you draw the line at pleasing your deity? What is too much? | I will not harm the undeserving, and that is something that I define for myself.
Life & Death
What do you absolutely live for? | Positive change in the world.
What is the best part of life? | Sharing experiences with those around you.
What is the best part of death? | Because in that last moment, there’s a chance to bring about positivity.
If you could choose, how would you want to die? | In my bed, after a long life, having spent the day observing and reflecting on the things I’ve done. They don’t even have to big things, just good ones.
What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death? | Simply put, as Finnegan Bond. I hope the name will speak for itself.
