Appearance


As with most Naerikk, Roz is attractive. She has shock white hair that she maintains at just below her shoulders, and a lean but slender frame. She tends most often to use the best possible posture. She attempts to appear friendly at all times, as one thing she hates more than her life is being alone. She has chocolate skin, unblemished and devoid of makeup save for her dark purple tattoos and her scarcely visible freckles. Her eyes a vibrant, bright pink- a nice contrast to her dark complexion. She rarely styles her hair other than a ponytail or a bun during hunts/jobs, but she does keep it groomed and clean. She has a narrowed eyes, appearing as if angry. Roz has shorter claws compared to much of her kin, but for some reason she can't bear to cut them completely. They've gone completely black since she stopped using the Lacquer as a result of a sudden halt in routinely applying it.

Her face can make her seeming devoid of emotion save for anger, often because she spaces out and has her moments of doubt for her past and future. But she takes small strides and walks with a arrogant kind of grace one can only call powerful. She's shorter standing at 5'4", but she has defined herself by her attitude and personality, not her looks. She weighs around 116 lbs. Her way of speaking is somewhat mixed between Euthic sign and Common. While her proficiency in Euthic is less than desirable, she does remember bits and pieces here and there. She tends to gesture and use her body more as a result of habit, but she does find she can speak the way she needs to and wishes so long as she takes it slow and processes the words in common. Outward appearance makes her seem mean spirited, but truly she's just wary and distant because of the stigma that seems to follow her.

Rozkia has changed with her time in Rharne - She no longer care to hide her lack of respect for the lesser beings that scuttle around her like worms. She's finished trying to understand or placate them by acting differently or changing her ways. She is of solid mind now, one with herself and her needs, and nothing will stop her. More likely to gouge out your eyes for insult, Rozkia will exercise restraint where she deems the repercussions are too high. Even then she has a good vocabulary for insults if nothing else and won't hesitate to use it. Despite her venom laced tongue, she is still figuring out what she plans to do - she still wants acceptance, she just doesn't fight for it so readily anymore. She is firm in her belief that trust and respect are earned, but even the will not be given easily.

Naturally possessive of what little she has, she fiercely protects her things. She has more sense of personal space than her normal kin, but she still has the urge to react physically whenever something happens. Whether or not she holds it down is depend, but she tries to be friendly. She's very curious, and she's always seeking answers. She's stubborn though, if she believes something it's hard to change her mind. She's not all around brick however, if you provide a reasonable argument she's more likely to ask questions than to call you wrong instantly. She values self perseverance, but she also values company, often seeking others even after being denied by them. She isn't overtly gullible despite her strong desire and needy action for companionship. If you wrong her she is not likely to forgive and forget, and you will become the subject of her ire easier than you are to be her friend. Rozkia in all is very quiet unless spoken to or asked for input. She rarely talks about herself and the little she remembers but if she does she has great respect and trust for you.

Description:A shabby, but refurbished (to an extent) three bedroom home. There's a dark room, where Roz spends most of her time. Because this room is where she stays most often, there is an absolute absence of light. There's a cot against the far wall, a wash basin, and a small chest to keep valuables in. This room is furthest from the entrance to keep the light out as much as possible. The first room you enter is a living area- a low quality couch, a few cushions and a small table. On the far right wall there's a shelf that holds pottery/eatery. Beside that is a small fireplace. It's rundown, looks horrible, but it works. The last room is just to the left of the living/kitchen area. It's devoid of anything as Roz isn't sure what to do with the room. There's a small garden area but Roz hasn't bothered with it. The outside is pretty run down, and the only room she keeps in "perfect" condition is the dark room. Though she occasionally attempts to patch holes she gives up soon after.

History

Rozkia doesn’t remember any of her past. Her earliest memory includes the dark, with nothing visible except the void. In this memory she feels herself be transported, but can’t open her eyes. Whatever is carrying her feels like a board, and the last bit she can recall is some saying 'return to us' before everything goes blank.

As a Naer, Rozkia was born a fighter- a survivor. Most Near are born on Augiery soil as was Rozkia, but only her mother was present in her life. From a young ager she was taught to fight, exploit weakness while showing none of her own. She was taught to defend herself and survive. Fending for herself was hard, but it was the way of her blood and she took to it like most of her kind. Rozkia was always more curious about others than her kin, but she still maintained that they were better than the rest.

At ten arcs she showed much promise for her ways of deceit and trickery even if known by few. She wanted to be part of something greater for her people, and she made certain her actions showed it. With her mind set on a goal, she began to train, hoping to become a warrior for her people. Rozkia was fifteen arcs when she was contacted by the Naer leaders for job. She would train and become a warrior by intergrading herself into the society of other races and locations. She was to pick up studies of another language and taught basic things about her assigned destination. Her first tattoo went on her forhead, and the final on her back. Ingrained into her mind was the need to succeed and the importance of what she had to do. Eventually the time had come, and with great enthusiasm that she appeared before her leaders, granting their blessing.

Rozkia woke up sometime around Arc 720 near the gates of Rharne with nothing but a name and the clothes on her back. Compelled by a ‘feeling’ she attempted entry to Rharne. It was much of a hassle to convince the guards she met no harm even without a weapon, but even more effort was needed to find housing and accommodations. What little she could remember didn’t help her and her temper and tendency to anger quickly didn’t help. She worked as hired hand for a bit, mercenary you could say, until she could afford the housing. Even then they refused to house her in the Earth quarter because of her race. Confused, she accepted what she could get, a shack-like rundown home in the Dust Quarter. From there it was a matter of taking odd jobs and learning all she could about her surroundings. She knew what she was, but she knew she also shouldn’t reveal it but didn’t know why until she started to read and explore. Eventually she realized that her kind could be quite… dangerous, but she had no memory of her family or knowledge of her home. Rozkia has since been living in the dust Quarter, trying her best to figure out why she was alone and how she lost her memories.

Bio: When Allistor started researching magic he never imagined himself a s a professor in a high class academy. He thrives in a challenging environment so becoming a professor was a logical step in his mind. Shaping younger mages, helping them appreciate and understand magic.. this was his calling. He takes keen interest in those more inclined to learn, often helping them in whatever ways he can. When Professor Hedwinct is in the classroom, there is bond to be some playful demonstrations and some seriously strict studying. He loves what he does, but he take sit very seriously and is very vocal about the possible downside of any magics. He isn't one to sugarcoat the facts, and as it stands there is nothing more dangerous than going into mage hood uninformed. He's lost too many pupils to be careless, and he insists that he doesn't take apprentices for that very reason, though he's sometimes swayed by eager and accepting minds.

Through his progression in magic, Allistor was aware of the general distrust for it by many. In his younger days, he advocated for mages. His aim was to bring to light the uses and good qualities for magic, but there was always that one bad egg. Eventually Allistor decided to change the outlook on magic in the classroom. He knew the dangers and risks. He knew the potential and rewards as well. It was time he taught that to the next generation.

Though not particularly fond of initiation, Allistor is seeking a pupil he can pass his gifts to as he is getting up in age and will eventually have no time to pass on the infinite knowledge or progress further in the art that is magic. He seeks one student that has a thirst to know more, to be more. He feels his experience will make him an excellent teacher, and under his tutelage one special student will thrive.

Relationship: Rozkia has never wanted anything more than to be useful before now. She's always seeking something better, something stronger for herself. Misplaced or not, Allistor sees potential for growth in her. They have an.. odd sense of camaraderie. Rozkia readily absorbs whatever is given, greedily so. Allistor is almost all too happy to provide it, thinking her thirst for power is in good intentions. The kindly old man has found a student willing to do whatever it takes, even if for the wrong reasons he finds out eventually. That thirst, that drive, he feels he can shape it into something good. His success isn't guaranteed, but he knows better than to leave magic in the hands of a rotten mind.
