Fun and Misery, Both Love Company
12th of Vhalar, 713
Location: The Bronze Boar
Tonight it seemed as though they were busier than usual thanks to the transition of the weather that slowly took place, with Zi'da looming in the distant horizon there existed a set number of days until the cold would be too rigid to endure; and therefore every Rharnian would remain crowded within doors in an effort to keep the cold at bay. Therefore outdoor strolls and nightly revelries were bound to increase this season, something that Patrick had quickly grown accustomed to as a bartender these past couple of years. A few buskers had even gathered and decided to play their instruments to bring the fun into the Boar tonight, their noisy but bouncy tune a great mood lifter to the rebellious crowd that managed to gather inside the establishment tonight. Upstairs had to be just as busy as stomps were heard on the ceiling and cheers were cawed for their current fighter; oh what another glorious night of celebration for the city of Rharne!
Two shots of whiskey, a mug of ale, two mugs of cider, and then two more shots of brandy! Holy shit did the orders line up quickly, and Patrick combated the sense of being overwhelmed with determined focus and determination. Four shot glasses arranged on the counter, switch to the cabinet to get three mugs, and then return to the glasses with both a bottle of whiskey and a bottle of brandy. Both poured with each hand into their designated glasses and placed aside, as they were moved to the two guys that ordered them in the beginning, and then onto the three mugs for ale and cider. When those were finally finished he found himself greeted with yet another who took a spot at the bar, a vivid smirk on his face as he leaned onto the surface after he'd found his seat. "Busy night little brother?!"
"Like you wouldn't believe!" He answered with a laugh as he reached for the cabinet to get another shot glass, the rum bottle his next selection as he poured one for Dominek. "Here." He presented to the knight with a few glances over to other spots, so far the tables were caught up and the lady in back was working on dishes. So for once he was actually caught up with everything, and he could at last admire the revelries that unfolded before him. "How was the patrol?"
"Oh you know, same ol' same ol'!" Dominek replied as he gulped the rum down in one go. "Gonna clear out though, just wanted t' check in!" He finished with a gold piece placed on the counter top.
"Sure," He mused with a glance over to a gingerly man at the end of the bar, one who hadn't really ordered a drink just yet, "Ya know you should shout at me or somethin'. Throw a mug at me next time!" He encouraged as he walked down to the individual, curious to see if he needed anything. "What can I get ya?"
