Due to Uthaldria's isolated and unique economy, they have different wages for many different professions, typically related to the demand of the profession. These professions and their changes are, starting with the drops in wages:
Dropped Wages
Astrologer: Dropped from 100 gn to 75 gn. Astrologers are much less sought after in Uthaldria due to their impracticality.
Lawyer: Dropped from 100 gn to 75 gn. Trials are typically done in a religious way in Uthaldria. Lawyers will only be useful for very specific cases.
Bandit: Dropped from 75 gn to 25 gn. Due to the immense dangers of the Fields of Gauthrel, and the brutality and efficiency of the Kriger and Jeger, bandits are almost universally eradicated and incapable of operating outside of city walls. This makes them prey for the Rageborn within the walls; a very rare and non-lucrative profession.
Executioner: Does not exist as a profession. The Jarl, Fenn, Shae or Warden who passes the sentence will execute the prisoner.
Thief: Dropped from 50 gn to 25 gn. Due to the emphasis on stopping crime in Uthaldria, thievery is an incredibly punishing trade.
Increased Wages
Sorcerer: Increased from 50 gn to 75 gn. Sorcerers can be considered highly valuable for their artifact creation, unique talents and monster slaying capabilities.
Interpreter: Increased from 75 gn to 100 gn. Due to the lack of inter-linguistic communication in Uthaldria, and the ever increasing need for translators to break down that barrier, interpreters can make immense amounts in the city.
Physician: Increased from 75 gn to 100 gn. Uthaldria is painfully lacking in doctoring talents, to the point where hundreds can line the Fallen Brothers Hospice, waiting to die from the lack of public or business-related doctors.
City Guard: Increased from 50 gn to 75 gn. Uthaldria highly values guards (typically Wardens), and those who enforce the law.
Jailer: Increased from 50 gn to 75 gn. Uthaldria highly values jailers (typically Wardens), and those who enforce the law.
