Ne'haer
POSITIONS OF POWER
In Ne’haer, we’re all about getting players involved in the drama. Players with big ambitions will find Ne’haer perfect - the plot is player run, not NPC run. With all the big changes in Ne’haer and surrounding territories coming up, this is the perfect time for you to start working your way up. Here are some of the positions you as a PC are able to fill. Either reply to this thread or PM a Ne’haer Prophet with your application and any questions. Note: replying to this thread is just an expression of interest; it does not mean you will automatically fill the position.
If you are interested in a position not listed, don’t hesitate to PM a Ne’haer Prophet. Note: this list does not include pre-existing factions, which can be found in the Ne’haer city lore.
Ne’haer
There are many political positions available in Ne’haer, especially with the recent events regarding the death of Antony Fransse. The Council of Minaih has opportunities for PC advancement.
The position of Council Member for International Relations is now available for a PC to fill. This will be done in a moderated thread, with four players able to vie for this coveted position. The Seasonal Calendar has details on these events. PM Jade if you are interested in becoming involved in this plot.
Treth
The town of Treth, an ally of Ne’haer, has two elected officials each arc to represent the town’s needs and desires. This is a small town, but incredibly important as the agricultural community here supports and supplies Ne’haer. The elected officials are tasked with making sure Ne’haer doesn’t forget Treth is incredibly important, even though they might not always be seen as such. Fill out this code and reply to this thread in order to apply for this position.
Cycres
Cycres has been occupied by Ne’haer in the main city’s quest for advancement in the region. This is an occupation by all means, though the city of Cycres is by all appearances co-operating with Ne’haer. The city of Cycres has one elected official, though there has not been another election for quite some time. This elected official has taken control of the position, and enjoys the luxuries attached to it - though there may be consequences for holding power in this way. Fill out this code and reply to this thread in order to apply for this position.
In addition to the elected official position, Cycres has a strong military presence. This is due to Ne’haer moving in and occupying the city. Many Knights of the Blades of Zafra are stationed here, and the city is run somewhat like a military state. There are several high ranking military roles available for PCs in Cycres.
Millstone
Millstone is well-known for its wealth, and being led by a somewhat more aristocratic group of individuals. They are not as interested in colonisation as some of their neighbouring territories, due to their significant wealth and exports that they supply the region. They are represented by a leader who is elected into power for life, or until the people feel they are no longer doing their work. This leader is the Lord (or Lady) of Millstone. Fill out this code and reply to this thread in order to apply for this position. This position should require some kind of noble background.
Yurrova
The territory of Yurrova has been overrun by the war struggle, and the town is barely surviving. Ironridge and Ne’haer have battled over this territory, leading to an eventual treaty between Yurrova and Ne’haer. While the city is struggling to remain afloat, there still exists much tension between groups that either support or oppose the treaty with Ne’haer. These sentiments are growing to a head, and when they blow, there will be an immense fall out. Positions are available for PCs to lead and become involved in either the Pro or Anti Ne’haer factions. Fill out this code and reply to this thread in order to apply for this position.
Bayward
The city of Bayward has been largely overlooked in wake of the tensions to the north. As such, Bayward has expanded its illegal smuggling and drug trades, as well as beginning to conduct raids on nearby seaside villages. There are rumours of succeeding from the region of Ne’haer, establishing their independence. Crux Dregoon has reigned over this city since snatching it back from the pirates, though he is not much better morally than those he wrestled power from. PC positions are available as advisors to Crux Dregoon, with plenty of plot coming to this pirate town soon. Fill out this code and reply to this thread in order to apply for this position.
Hyran
Ne’haer has taken over Hyran in their expansion, and by all accounts, House Marthel is happy with this situation. The wealthy village tries not to awaken the sleeping lion that is Ne’haer, and seems to be uninterested in politics. However, advisors to House Marthel have been urging the aristocracy to be more involved in the happenings of the region, and try and get involved in the situation. Fill out this code and reply to this thread in order to apply for this position.
Lysoria
With all the changes and threats in the region, the ruling class of Lysoria have become more active than ever. As Lysoria gears up toward taking Ne’haer head on, the nobility and political figures of Lysoria have become incredibly important, for they refuse to hand Lysoria over to Ne’haer without a fight. Positions within the House of Amielle (the ruling family) are available, as well as other noble families. If applying to be a member of House of Amielle, or another noble house, your PC should have some kind of noble background. Ambassadors and other political advisors are needed too.
In addition, there are steadily growing rumours about a group of mages who have slowly been growing and gaining more powerful within Lysoria. Who they are and what they want, no one knows, but one thing is for certain: magic is not a hypothetical here anymore, it’s a reality. Some members of the nobility may have more information than commoners, or even further, may even be a member of this group of mages themselves… PCs are able to join this mages council, but be warned - there will be backlash. Fill out this code and reply to this thread in order to apply for this position.
Ironridge
The city of Ironridge is abuzz with gearing up toward war. The proud folk of Ironridge have a hatred toward Ne’haer, and there are some rumours that perhaps Lord Vurris Lokhert, despite having ruled for arcs, is not strong enough for the city at this time. The positions of advisors to the Lord and Ambassadors for Ironridge are available, and there will no doubt be tension between those that support Lokhert, and those that do not. Fill out this code and reply to this thread in order to apply for this position.
If you are interested in a position not listed, don’t hesitate to PM a Ne’haer Prophet. Note: this list does not include pre-existing factions, which can be found in the Ne’haer city lore.
