Saun 717 Events
"Open" threads are ones that can be totally run by players, though with potential mod intervention. Players are not allowed to play any city leaders, Immortals, Mortalborns, etc in these threads, even if they're involved. Mods must be requested to do so.
1st of Saun The Ascension Festival Open (Moderated by Request)
On the first of every season, Bred Lothar who wish to acquire Reborn status flock to the city square. If Thetros finds them deserving, he will impart them with the Lotharen biological reincarnation, granting them Reborn status and changing the way in which they are viewed within the city, as well as altering their future for good. The evening of this trial, celebrations are thrown across the city for the Lotharen granted Reborn status, with Thetros personally visiting a singular Lothar to personally lay out their great achievements.
3rd of Saun Ours Open (Moderated by Request)
The Lotharen Horde - comprised only of Stahlmark, Mac Teagan and Alfweyr - incorporates Argos into their territory, transforming it into one of clan Alfweyr's Jarldoms. The Horde debates on which Shae of Alfweyr is fit to lead the city, as a variety of men step forward to seek the title.
8th of Saun The Jarl of Tantervale II Claimable
Ymiden 717: The Jarl of Tantervale, of Clan Stahlmark, enters a state of fragility clear to herald his death. Among his Shae and other loyal followers, he seeks a successor. This plot will go on for several seasons for those who wish to pursue it, and can potentially end with the player achieving the status of Jarl of Tantervale.

18th of Saun Never Enough Moderated
The Horde, without warning, cleaves through Northern Gauthrel and hits Melrath with an army of 30,000. Nordhoff, stationed near Melrath to ward off invaders, is devastated in a battle where eight thousand of their overseas raiders are killed. The siege of Melrath begins.
26th of Saun The Western Hunt Open
As per the usual, a seasonal hunt ensues where the men and women of Gauthrel convene to hunt beasts in the West. The hunt, as bloody as always, is broken by the emergence of the Wild with a large army of monsters at their disposal. The Bloodcaller, Kieran Wilderaande, warns the hunters to return east, demanding that they take leave from his 'territory'.
30th of Saun The War of Reunification: Battle of Shirnrad Moderated
Clan Nordhoff, in retaliation against the Horde, declares war on Clan Stahlmark, Alfweyr and Mac Teagan. An army of nearly a hundred thousand Nordhoff march on Shirnrad, hoping to ravage the agricultural capital of Clan Stahlmark. An army of similar size meets them, ensuing one of the greatest battles in Gauthrel's history.
32nd of Saun To Malakaern Open
The Horde defeats Clan Nordhoff decisively, with nearly thirty thousand of the Southern army dying in the conflict, many of them slaves. Stahlmark pushes south and prepares to invade Malakaern, as Nordhoff regroups.
38th of Saun Melrath For the Horde Open
After seizing all of the surrounding cities and towns around Melrath, the Horde breaks through the city and takes it for their own.
40th of Saun The Creator Stirs Open
A great memorial is held for the current life of the Creator, Thetros, the Sacred Father. Come Vhalar, he will be beckoned to a deathly slumber, and the people mourn for the end of his two hundred arc cycle of life, especially as the Clans war against one another, and violence permeates Gauthrel even more than the days before.
