To-trial should have been like any other stormy trial. One of a quiet calm that seemed to always engulf cities even with the crashing of thunder and flashing of lightning. To the contrary though, there were still quite a few people out and about on the town today, enjoying nature. This would be one of their few trials off as it were, storm or not.Ashan's Trial, a celebration of the season. Even with the almost torrential downpour, Nalin watched from the window as people still participated in the events. He knew that he should be resting, but watching the children play in the rain, even if they were scared of the thunder and lightning, it was cute.
Grabbing both his coat and his jacket, Nalin walked out into the downpour. He was going to get soaked most likely by the time he got anywhere, but that was okay. To be honest, he needed the fresh air. It had been a weird and slightly stressful Ashan so far. Lavender wasn't with him when he walked out though. She wanted to rest, she needed the rest and to be honest, he didn't blame her.
This Cylus and Ashan had been quite harsh ones for them. Nalin was really surprised with how much luck they had. Even with the bads, there were enough goods to even it all out. A lot of it was thanks to that healer from the first time he collapsed. Thinking back on it, he had been pretty stubborn. It was bad now that he thought back on it. He really should have been more careful. He pushed himself way too hard, he knew he had, but he kept pushing anyways. Now that he wasn't going to work, basically on a vacation to get better, it was a bit amazing to him just how much a break felt amazing.
Walking in the clouded over city, getting poured on, Nalin wandered kind of aimlessly, following the few thrown petals on the ground, wondering where they would lead him. Pleasantly unaware of the shadow of a man that was following him in the distance, keeping a watch on him. He was dressed more appropriately for the weather, with a hooded cloak that hid his form for the most part. It wasn't obvious that this man was following him either, even if someone noticed him, they might assume that he was just in the midst of participating in the celebration of Ashan's trial himself.
Some kids ran around Nalin, laughing at him for being dumb and not having a hood, splashing about in the water covered streets and then running off again as thunder boomed in the sky above. Nalin just found himself laughing and continued to walk until he saw a cloak that seemed familiar. He looked around, was there a medical building other than the school nearby. He frowned, there was no way that it could be the same person from that time. He frowned for a moment but he quickened his pace and reached out to tap on the person's shoulder. Hoping they wouldn't turn around and freak out, but turn around enough to let him see their features under their hood.
"Hey... you uhm.. Amaris? Healer?"
