Introduction

A bonus to your Seasonal Wage is given for a number of reasons. Those are detailed below. Please note that any added bonus should be applied for with your Seasonal Wage, in the same application.

Higher Education

If you have a completed Higher Education Qualification, in a relevant subject, you may apply the following to your Seasonal Wage.

  • Letter = +1wp a Season
  • Certificate = +2wp a Season
  • Diploma = +3wp a Season
  • Charter = +4wp a Season
  • Licentiate = +5wp a Season.

As per previously - these are NOT culmulative. So if you have a Charter, you have +4 TOTAL, not all the ones before then +4, and you always have +4, until you get +5 for the Licentiate.

Language Bonus

In order to promote and encourage long-term involvement in a city that the PC is invested in, the PC may opt into a "Loyalty Bonus" for the primary language of their city. If the PC remains in the city for one Cycle, they may take the primary language of that city up to the level "Broken" for FREE. If they remain in the city for one Arc, they may take the primary language of that city up to "Conversational" for FREE.

This is explained as the PC picking up colloquialisms and other tidbits of the language in their everyday dealings in the city. The more time they spend in the city around the languages, the more they would recognize the intricacies of the language they are commonly around.

Additionally, a PC who is FLUENT in the primary language of their city may add to their wage IN THAT CITY. So if the PC is fluent in Ith'ession and works in Etzos, any job threads completed in that area would be subject to the bonus. However, if that PC moves to Rhakros, the bonus is lost, and the PC would have to learn Xanevic to regain the bonus in Rhakros. This can be explained by the employers of the city looking more favourably upon those who speak the native language of their area.

Located below is a list of the CURRENTLY OPEN CITIES, their primary languages, and whether or not they qualify for this bonus. This list will be updated when/if cities are opened or closed.

The bonus is +1WP on your Seasonal Wage. This is not a cumulative bonus, but each season that you are in the city, you get +1 to your usual Seasonal Wage.
