What Are Wealth Tiers?

Here on Standing Trials, your wealth is measured in Tiers. Each Tier is an indication of your lifestyle overall and encompasses all aspects of that lifestyle. Items in the price list, your clothing, housing and so on are all determined by Wealth Tiers, so make sure that you understand not only what your Wealth Tier is, but also where it fits in the bigger picture of wealth (and poverty) on Idalos!

How Do I Know My Wealth Tier?

Your initial Wealth Tier is determined by your starter pack. After that, you will gain or lose Wealth Points each season. Those Wealth Points determine where you are in the list of Wealth Tiers.

Below is a list of the Wealth Tiers with the Wealth Points in parentheses after them:

• Absolute Poverty (0 - 5)
• Destitute (6 -14)
• Poor (15 - 30)
• Struggling (31 -50)
• Average (51 - 75)
• Comfortable (76 - 100)
• Wealthy (101 - 130)
• Very Wealthy (131 -160)
• Rich (161 -200)
• Filthy Rich (201+)

Wealth Tiers

Tier	Wealth Points	Description
Absolute Poverty	0 - 5	A character at this tier owns nothing and has no means of income.
Destitute	6 - 14	At this tier, a character is living in squalor, or is homeless. They live from hand to mouth, often not knowing where the next meal is coming from
Poor	15 - 30	Here, you are living well below the average lifestyle. Your home is likely to be very basic and, if living in a city, for example, you are in the poorest area / district
Struggling	31 - 50	This person is living with below average wealth. Your lifestyle affords you little in the way of luxuries and some seasons are hard to get by.
Average	51 - 75	The average lifestyle for a character in Idalos. If you live in a house, you have a small three room home in a mediocre area. Nothing fancy, but equally, you aren't completely scraping for your next meal, either. You get by.
Comfortable	76 - 100	This person is starting to see the finer things in life, here and there. They are well fed and able to buy little treats and luxuries, here and there. Their home is likely to be comfortable.
Wealthy	101 - 130	Wealthy individuals have a good lifestyle and money to spare. They have comfortable and well appointed housing with spare resources which they can save or spend on luxury items. Their food and clothing are likely to be well above average.
Very Wealthy	131- 160	The very wealthy are those who have a very good lifestyle, are able to live in very high quality housing if they choose to and have lots of spare wealth with which to purchase luxuries and any goods they want.
Rich	161 - 200	To be rich is to have the opportunity of a lifestyle the average person would not be able to dream of. Minor nobility living in large private estates and wearing the finest clothes are rich.
Filthy Rich	200+	Then, there are the filthy rich. Those who can afford pretty much whatever they want and who live an absolutely libertine lifestyle. They are the high ranking nobles, most famous in their professions, etc.
