Faldrun's Spire sits in the south west corner of Yaralon. It is built into the wall itself, and is one of the most massive pieces of construction in the city. It is quite rare to find a building made of so much precious stone, but the spire is no mere adornment. It is both a temple to Faldrun and a lighthouse for Yaralon's port. The flame never goes out, and is visible from a thousand meters out into the Crescent Sea during even the worst storms. The light has the added benefit of illuminating the homes in the southwest corner, and a large chunk around Yaralon's walls, making it easier to deal with the fauna and monsters that attack them.

It was built in the early 300s, once Yaralon was finally being established as an entity on the global stage. One of Faldrun's Champions came to Yaralon by sea, and knew just how to worship the Immortal of Fire. And so, the man set out to get funding. He worked, bargained, challenged, and otherwise manipulated nearly every merchant emperor or empress in Yaralon at that time. It was contentious at the time, seemingly a waste of so much money to import stone from Sirothelle, when people needed food.

But it ended up being worth it. Merchants saw more ships surviving the Crescent Sea route to the harbor, and Faldrun's Temple was quick to acquire followers for the Immortal. Within it is 25 floors, dedicated mostly to the soldiers that man the nearby sections of the walls, as well as the various acolytes that follow Faldrun. Each floor contains some form of dedication to fire. Some have large fireplaces, others' braziers, others' a mass of candles, each different from the next. The floors are connected by stairs that are built into the exterior wall, spiraling up the tower. And there are tons of steps. Soldiers and acolytes alike moved up and down the stairs, patrolling, attending to the duties of the tower. It has a large arch with stone doors on the ground level inside the city walls for entry, always open, but guarded.

The Temple always has at least one Champion in it at any given time, for they are the priest there. They help teach the acolytes and any willing to listen the ways of Faldrun, and will often give out tasks or missions to those wishing to enter the Fire Lord's fold.
