Location: Born in Welles, travels the world, currently located in Rynmere

Background: Jess Shaw has always had a fascination for things past. Born into a wealthy family in Welles, the Eastern Settlement, Jess has always been fascinated by her family history, which has been said to be linked to the Shore People, the Shay. From a young age Jess like many members of her family studied the Shay, and accompanied her uncle on expeditions to locate Shay archaeological sites. In one such site she and her uncle discovered what appeared to be a Shay artifact dedicated to the worship of Famula, and because of that she has worshiped the immortal ever since. Worshiping Famula came naturally to Jess when no other immortal had interested her before.

The last decade Jess has traveled the world, searching not only for more information on the Shay, but on the interactions between the first peoples and Famula herself. She is keen on studying the identities and practices of the first Zuuda. To aid in her research and in order to be of service to Famula, she has also studied in the methods of the disposing of undead, and is especially interested in locating relics of long dead Zuuda, as well as studying their histories and their legendary abilities of yore.
