Abra is contacted by a wandering minstrel troupe. The leader - and director - tells him that they were referred because he likes to hear legendary tales. For a small price, the leader offers to perform several unique tales over the course of three nights.

On the first night, it costs barely more than a new outfit, and the tale is mesmerizing!

The troupe consists of only four performers, but from their wagon, they create a stage with props and special effects meant to wow and amaze. They sing, and dance, and play out a Melrathi legend for Abra, one that involves the Induk, Vynmur… and then they share another story that is of foreign make, and one that promises the location of a powerful artifact - but they leave that story to finish for the second night.

On the second night, the troupe requests triple what they’d asked for on the previous night. Still, compared to the stories Abra had already heard - stories he’d never heard before - it seems a cheap price to pay. Again, they perform for him and this time, he is able to listen to three stories of various origin, including the continuation about the one involving the powerful artifact.

Again, the artifact story doesn’t conclude and he is told to wait until the third night for the thrilling end!

After the second night’s performance, one of the troupe approaches Abra. She is the daughter of the director, and mentions that she isn’t supposed to talk about it, but they are struggling to make ends meet. Not everyone is interested in paying for fables and legends to be performed and times are hard traveling between towns and cities. She mentions that if only she could have a loan so they could purchase a grander wagon, and better costumes, then maybe they will be able to turn things around.

What were the stories told? How did Abra react to them? Was he impressed by the troupe or simply interested in the information? How did he treat his unexpected “guests” in the meantime?

Will Abra offer the director’s daughter a loan? Will he make a deal with the troupe?

Choice A. If Abra gives her a loan; On the third night, after Abra gives the loan, he will find the troupe gone. Where did they go? Perhaps if he gets a scout on the case, or happens to have a way to travel after them fast… he can catch up and demand an explanation. Or perhaps the troupe will simply depart until a later time... but will they ever pay the loan back?

Choice B. If Abra does not give her a loan; On the third night, he will find the troupe gone… along with a great many of his belongings. He’s been robbed! Will he chase after the wagon or will he call it a loss and move on?
