Defiance is a magic that is more than just throwing around and manipulating the various elements of Idalos. A true defiler needs to create a bond and a friendship with their elemental kin, this way they will have better control and access to usage of this powerful magic. As a newly inducted defiler, his bond with the earth is weak and unfounded.
