Appearance

This breed has extra long whiskers, twintails, and horns that extend from their foreheads. They are extremely hard to breed, are purely carnivores, and can grow as big as a large dog. What is so unusual about Auris is the fact that they live extremely long lives, thus allowing them to grow into a creature with intellect enough for communication in up to two languages.

Habitat

Arnabari are fairly adaptive, but prefer forested areas. They have been seen on plains or in swamps as well. As long as there is enough vegetation to support them, and not too many predators, the Arnabari might move in and flourish.

Lifespan & Development

They live extremely long lives. Their development follows a similar pacing to that of a domestic cat, but slows considerably when they reach adulthood. It’s unknown how long they can actually live, although it’s rumored to be as many as two human generations.

Purely Carnivorous

Temperament:

Wild, and intelligent. Resistant to training. It would take a master of animal training to turn a wild auri into something resembling a domestic animal, and then a master of animal husbandry to urge subsequent generations to become fully domestic. Despite their intelligence, they are far too stubbornly individualistic to form societies of their own. They rarely congregate with other Auris save for the purposes of breeding and rearing young.

They’re extremely intelligent, to the point where they can learn and communicate in up to two different languages.
