Weather
The weather does not seem to change all that much between Saun and Vhalar. It becomes a little cooler within the city and much cooler in areas where the vegetation is much thicker and the shade darkens the forest floor. Storms are occasional and incredibly light. As the season progresses, the humidity begins to get less and less.

- Trial 1 of Vhalar
- Global Plot Event
- Late Saun introduced the appearance of shadowy creatures in the Makubwa Lori. Reports suggested that shadow creatures with reflective red eyes would prowl the forest for lone hunters. Many Desnind residents would only venture into the forest in groups. During the beginning of Vhalar, the shadow creatures have started to get daring. Somehow they have been able to get closer and closer to the Itọju with stronger creatures penetrating the city walls. Battles have begun to spring up randomly in the middle of the city. There are no defined times of the attacks, but the creatures seem to favor times where there are fewer people around. Unlike many other cities, these creatures take the appearance of animals and monsters, rather than humans.

- Desnind is home to a wide variety of fruits, veggies, and insects. Tialadani is the celebration of the harvest. The residents of Desnind get together to celebrate the bounty the forest provides. On the day of the festival, there are great fires on the ground with dancing and singing. Large boar, deer, and bear are roasted openly over these fires. Potato and nut breads were hand ground in the morning and cooked around the celebration fires in the evening. Produce are lined on tables in all forms - raw, steamed, roasted, baked - for sampling. Not a nel is spent on food that day. Other vendors bring their wares to sell, taking the opportunity to monopolize on full purses. All fires, stalls, and parties occur around Moseke's temple, where there is no risk to burning down the city proper.
