Weather

The weather is relatively warm in Desnind for most of this season, especially in the middle of Vhalar. Only one sun in in the sky and night has returned to the world but still the weather has yet to drop to being too cold. Desnind doesn't really get cold until Zi'da but the changes can be seen across the forest as leaves begin to turn and the air begins to slowly become more rigid only near the end might people begin to wear more furs though. There is some rain during this season but no storms like in the more extreme seasons and instead the time is quite dry.

Seasonal Events

Rumours have been spreading through Desnind for seasons of something dark in the forests, something lurking just out of sight but ever present and dangerous to any who would encounter it. The darkness takes people when others are not looking, some never seen again but some returning but not well of mind or body often broken or even dead. The Darkness that resides just out of reach has remained unchallenged and ignored but it seems to be becoming more confident as more people disappear each season and fewer return able to try and tell a story.

Another shadow also threatens Desnind, one from the east that have grown brave and prowl the woods closer to the Sev'ryn's sanctuary than they should be. Taking the form of women but truly something much more hideous and terrifying these peoples have less than savoury goals in their minds as they search for something of interest to them. They too remain mostly unchallenged as the Oludïbọ Cïkäkkẹn debate on how to deal with the threat they pose, their options few and the danger of a war imminent if not taken dealt with with great caution.

Some good is still to come from the season though as the harvest this year was bountiful, the forest had provided the people with more food than they had seen in arcs and this was a time for celebration. The usual Tialadani festival has been extended from one day to two due to the extra amount of food and to help cheer up the population in the recent darker times. The Oludïbọ Cïkäkkẹn are rumoured to have an announcement for this date but it has yet to have been said what this will be about and is a surprise for any who attend the second day of the festival to discover.
