Excellent, hand-crafted, exotic, Southern Region wines are often hard to find within Desnind. Importation of wine from other cities is common, but the favorite of the Sevir is the forest wine from the Makubwa Lori. When Phyt Sylvanus Shamsaldin followed his path from the burning desert to the northern regions for training in wine making, he decided to make a name for himself by establishing himself in the Southern Region and using exotic fruits not found in the northern cities. His first creation was the blackest wine ever created, yet one of the most pleasing tastes he had ever succumbed to. He named the vineyard Raise Darkness winery. The Sev'ryn of the city translated that into Xanthea, and he further developed his brand on their behalf. Kẹjí Kisa winery was born.

Located outside the walls of Desnind, the winery building itself is considered small in comparison to northern wineries; however, it is one of the large buildings associated with Desnind. With Moseke's blessing, it was made from Makubwa Lori trees and the lands were removed of larger trees to make barrels and provide sunlight to the bushes that were planted there. Various fruits and berries are harvested each season and brought into a building where they processed into barrels made from Makubwa Lori trees that had been removed. From the best resources, to the purest water, vintners around Idalos would raise Kẹjí Kisa wines up with some of the best northern wines.

Phyt is currently considering taking on an apprentice vitner to one day take over the Kẹjí Kisa. He hopes a young Sev'ryn would be interested prior to seeking out their familiar. Providing his apprentice with the basic knowledge of wine making and then sending him/her out into the world would be ideal. He fully believes that a well-rounded education on all wines and the various types each city makes creates a great vitner.
