Appearance: Small with edges all over, their body looks like a fish that has been skinned but still lives. The have three rows of teeth, their outer teeth being the largest. Due to their slated like bone structure and far back jaw they are able to open their mouth nearly as high as their body. Their fins are much more standard of fish, having thick membrane for webbing in-between the bone. Both their skin and bodies are rough enough to damage any how try to touch them with their bare hands.
With no noses and eyes set on either side of its head the Raseiera relies on taste and motion to hunt down their prey.
Habitat: The Forest of Teeth, the largest grouping of kelp in the Vynmur river. Lifespan and Development: They Raseiera are egg layers, the mother keeping the eggs stuck to the inner cave of her top spines. This prevents other Raseiera from eating the eggs.
Egg hatching takes roughly 20-45 trials depending on season as the Raseiera can breed in any season but the cold seasons take longer. Once hatched the young will come out to feed but stay hidden within their mothers spines for as long as possible. Once big enough they will hide within the kelp to prevent being eaten until they are large enough to join the school. Diet: Anything that they can fit in their mouths, they both aggressive feeders and cannibalistic. Their constant motion and fast movements mean they have a high metabolism and eat about four times their body weight every two days. Temperament: Aggressive, territorial and unfriendly
Abilities: Rough skin, near detachable jaw
Uses: Too little meat and foul temperament has left them with little found uses.
