Bio: Rhostus is a born Lothar who hasn't ascended to reborn status. He spent the majority of his life studying magic and never really caught Thetros' eye, even though he's quite the accomplished mage. Getting on in years, he's looking for a legacy to pass his spark on to. He hangs around Quacian fighting pits, searching for someone strong enough to be his legacy, preferably a reborn or a young Lothar. He sometimes enters the ring to face off against promising opponents, but hasn't yet found someone he deems worthy.

Relationship with Fridgar I plan to write this out in character, Fridgar will do well in the fighting pits for a while then get his ass handed to him by Rhostus, then track him down for a rematch and come to a close draw. Afterward, Rhostus will offer to take Fridgar on as his student. As Fridgar grows and learns, he'll eventually come to recognize Rhostus as part of his flock as influenced by his becoming spark. Their teacher/student relationship will evolve more toward a father/son relationship, something Fridgar didn't have much of as a child. That'll be the case until Rhostus' health declines and Fridgar takes care of him in return.
