Sicarius hasn’t been a noble for very long, and he’ll find that it’s a different life than that of pirates - even in the Gofrith family.
One morning, Sicarius’ adopted father tells him that it is time to begin tutorship so that he will be able to keep up with other noble children and navigate the murky waters of Melrath politics.
He is sent to a small retreat for a few trials, and finds himself with about twenty other noble children from various houses. There is only one other child that is adopted in the lot, and Sicarius is the only ithecal - as well as being much taller than the rest!
Does he pay attention to the various retreat courses? What are the lectures on - spirits? Melrath history? Nobility skills? Etiquette classes? What sort of teachers are there? Are there a representative from different factions to try and sway the young minds to join?
How about the other children? How do they treat Sicarius? How does he treat them? Does he make friends? Enemies? How many times does his tail get pulled or accidentally stepped on? Does something happen in which he earns the group’s favor? Does he learn about the other noble families?
Does something greater happen during the retreat? Unforeseen by the adults and impacting the children and their experiences? Will Sicarius carry his new Gofrith name with pride or will he embarrass his family? Is he on his way to fitting in with nobility or distancing himself from it?
