Being in a savanna, otherwise known as a tropical grassland, Yaralon's climate comes in two stages; a wet season and a dry season. Through the seasons of Ymiden (83 trials), Saun (40 trials), and Vhalar (123 trials), Yaralon enters the wet season. During this time, Yaralon receives an extremely high amount of precipitation. The rain begins building up through Ymiden, starting with one to two breaks of rain per trial from Ymiden 1-30, three to four breaks from Ymiden 31-60, and five to six breaks of rain from Ymiden 61-83.

Saun (40 trials) receives the peak of the rainfall, raining for nearly the entire trial, with only a few short breaks. Flooding is quite common during this season. The rain is so constant, the dark and heavy clouds tend to block out the suns, and humidity reaches stifling levels. Amphibious predators and nocturnal predators tend to reign supreme during this season as their hunting territories and hunting times have expanded. Rainfall begins to drop off during Vhalar (123). Vhalar 1-40 sees rain dropping back down to five to six breaks per trial, Vhalar 41-80 sees rain at 3-4 breaks per trial, and Vhalar 81-123 sees rain dropping down to one to two breaks per trial.

Zi'da (93 trials) is when the dry season begins for Yaralon. Rainfall is reduced to perhaps a total of six breaks over the course of the entire season. The days aren't nearly as hot. and this is the season when pack hunters and large predators take the reigns, as all the beasts transition to claim or hold their territories around the existing water sources. Plant life, those not corrupted by the Emean influence from the Fractures, dies off or goes dormant during this season.

When Cylus (30 trials) comes to the world, the two suns disappear entirely, and the three moons take their place. And while it is a technical darkness, with the complete lack of precipitation, there is never any cloud cover during Cylus. That, coupled with the nature of being a rolling grassland with little to block out the light, Cylus is surprisingly well lit by the moons. But still, stealth and nocturnal hunters are the dominant species here, picking off animals as they search high and low for water sources. Plant life, those not corrupted by the Emean influence from the Fractures, dies off or remains dormant during this season.

Finally, Ashan (123 trials) rolls around, and animals are desperate for that first rainfall, which usually comes around trials 40-60, and is a light one, usually a break or two, just enough of a reprieve to keep them going for a little longer. 80-123 is when rainfall is sporadic, usually once every ten trials or so. Once more, the large predators and pack hunters take the stage, and life begins to return to the plant life of Yaralon.
