• The Harvester is no longer an Emean being, it is the worst parts of the mage puppeteered by the Spark itself.
• We're not having it external manifestation - we're going with (it's all very big in the head right now) a sort of Dorian Grey sort of thing - you sell your soul to the Spark, the Harvester WANTS to be separate, but the mage feeds on it being part of him/ her. So, while they're together, the mage is beautiful / sparkly vampire - but when separate, the Harvester gets stronger and stronger as the mage becomes more and more husk etc.

PEG: Aberration is a magic which is the antithesis of life. Aberrants drain life energy, known to them as Cruxis and they use it to feed their Spark and their magic. From the moment of Initiation, the Spark drives the mage to feed on life energies, leaving its victims decayed husks. The same is true of the Mage themselves, their very soul feeds the Spark and, as the mage grows in power they have a correlating loss of soul. This means that an Aberrant mage quickly becomes a husk: gaunt and thin and resembling a walking corpse. Thankfully, or perversely depending on one's point of view, the merging of the Spark and the soul creates a "Harvester" - a projection of the very darkest parts of the mage, puppeteered by the Spark. The stronger the mage gets, the more visible to others the Harvester is - however, they are usually in a state the mage believes is "merged" with a beautiful veneer over the mage's physical form ~ making them appear to be a beautiful example of their race. As the merging of soul and Spark continues, and the mage moves through the levels of power, the Harvester grows stronger and the mage's physical body weaker. [/peg]
