Gyundi's Night

Overview

In memory of a famous Desnind Hunter (who no one remembers and might not have been real)the return of the hunters on the fifth night of the first hunt in Desnind is known as Gyundi's Night.

Date/Frequency

Somewhere between the 40th and the 60th Ashan, the five days and nights of the first hunt begin. Therefore, Gyundi's Night happens between 45th and 65th.

Description

The first hunt takes place. It involves hunters splitting into pairs. Citizens wait to see who can catch the biggest haul. This event lasts 5 trials and whoever catches the most wins. The prize is whatever you catch and the honour and respect of the other hunters. This event can be dangerous and all inexperienced hunters are expected to pair up with a more skilled and experienced hunter. Gyundi's Night is the first night after the hunters return.
