History:

Min'ida is somewhat of an outsider, he was not born within the temple nor did he move there until he was 20. His father had traveled around the world and for a short time settled in Rhakros. This was where he had met Min'ida's mother. Little else is known about his father. During his short stay in the city, he managed to cause the woman to become pregnant with Min. The father left quickly after the conception having no want to raise it. Min'ida never met his father and most likely never will, but a part of him still wishes he would walk into the temple one day and see what a man his son had become.

Min'ida's mother raised him in Rhakros to follow the ways and teachings of Lisirra, from a young age learning the tricks of the trade from his mother. She was a well accomplished researcher and he spent a lot of his childhood in her lab watching her work. This was a large influence on his future. Shortly after he turned 19 she died. She had fallen ill from one of her own experiments. With no cure created, she died a slow, bloody, and excruciating death. This left Min'ida truly alone in the world. Nobody knows if it was out of pity for the boy or promise in his abilities, but Lisirra found him and marked him. She told him that he was to go to Desnind, find Abin Arabinrin Las'regor, and join the Cazav.

Upon arrival he found his way to the temple, as had been described to him by a strange man who had been waiting for him at the docks. He had approached Las'regor as instructed, and was taken under wing as a student. The two of them developed a close friendship and although not openly seen Min'ida is one of Las'regor's most trusted advisors. He is now an expert Alakoso and spends the majority of his time conducting experiments.

He does have a soft spot for men, believed to stem from his lack of a father as a child. He is easily susceptible to their charms and he is no stranger to dabbling in homosexual relations too. He is not ashamed of his ambiguous sexual orientation, but he does keep it under wraps, as sharing it openly may stimulate judgement and harassment by others. If someone wants to get on this man's good side it really helps to be male. Although he has been known to occasionally fall to a woman's seductive skills and the possible passions she can offer, his preference remains. He is also drawn by talent. Someone who can match his ability level and help to fuel him in his search for the perfect poison.

When not researching, Min'ida spends time watching those around him. His familiar is a testament to his wisdom, intelligence, and wall-flower nature. Min’ida’s familiar is an owl with only one eye and a scorpion's tail. The creature is reserved and very much focused on growing intellectually; however, it is has a keen sting for those which annoy ithe owl has a natural curiosity and will to learn like Min’ida. If a familiar was capable of killing, this creature's poison could be quite deadly. Thankfully, it leaves the death by poison to its physical counterpart.
