Rules on Mixed Races

Introduction

Make sure that you fully understand what Mixed Race means here on Idalos and which races can be mixed. While we know that, in reality, people are much more mixed than an equal 50=50 split, genetically, for the purposes of the mechanics of the game, if you want to have a Racial Bonus or Fast Track Skill, or if you want to have access to any Racial Ability, you must have at least one parent race identified as 50% of your genetics.

Racial Bonus

You may choose the Racial Bonus from one parent race.

Fast Track

You may choose the Fast Track Skill from one parent race.

Racial Abilities

Some races have racial abilities ~ such as the Avriel wings / flight, for instance. You may only have one of these, you do not have access to both parents racial abilities.

Appearance

As long as it infers no advantage and has no impact other than cosmetic your appearance may be as mixed as you like.
