Southern Mounts
These mounts can only be found in the Southern region cities of Augiery, Desnind, Niomyr, and Quacia. Any mounts that are seen out of this region are privately owned. They are most likely not for sale and are considered out of their element.
Méreg Hopper

Created By: Munchkin
- Location: Augiery
- Weight: 600-700 pounds
- Height: 2 meters
- Length: 3 meters
- Purpose: Augierian Mount
- Price: 170gn
Habitat: This creature lives in stagnant water in underground cave systems. It can leave the water but only does so when startled. To run from predators, it will jump between stalagmites and stalactites to stay undetected.
Lifespan and Development: Méreg's have a lifespan ranging between 3 or 5 years. Starting off as an egg, the creature eventually hatches in to a smaller frog like shape, but with less defined features and much weaker muscles. The egg usually blends in with its surroundings to ward off predators, typically looking like a rock or a chunk of dirt. Once the egg is laid it is abandoned to fend for itself. The creature remains unattended, spending 1 or 2 weeks in the egg until it hatches. This can lead to a very premature death as the egg, of course, has no means of protection. Once the egg has hatched, however, it spends two weeks developing and maturing until it reaches it's full size of around three meters long and two meters tall. This makes it enough for one person to ride it. This early development is an adaption that allows the defenseless creature to stand a better chance of surviving in the underground.
Diet: This creature does not need much food to live, and with no natural weapons it almost never kills. This makes it a scavenger. It usually eats whatever's left of someone else's kill including bones and rotten flesh. To keep a tamed one fed, any kind of meat will do, though fish is preferred and healthier for the creature to grow.
Temperament: This creature is extremely shy. It stays away from other creatures and other people as much as possible as it isn't very efficient as a predator. It will only stay still for as long as it needs, and won't allow any creatures to go near it without running. When this creature senses any form of danger it runs away, making this creature extremely hard to tame and capture.
Abilities: This creature has claws at the end of its feet that can be retracted or extended out up to 5 cm long, allowing the creature to easily rappel walls. It can move extremely quickly and has the ability to camouflage so it can be safe while it sleeps
Nagyr Lizard

Created By: Munchkin
- Location: Augiery
- Weight: 1400 pounds
- Height: Average of 9 meters
- Length: 5-6 meters
- Purpose: Augierian Mount
- Price: 200gn
Habitat: Normally found near underground rivers and lakes, the Nagyr lizard is renowned for it's speed on both land and in water. Although they can fully survive on land, these creatures will more than likely be found in the water. Often, they will lie deep underwater so that predators of any kind can't find them. However, they can't breathe in water forever, so this only lasts for a couple of breaks at most before they are required to resurface for another few breaks. During the hotter seasons, this creature will rarely leave the water. Instead, they will bask in the shallows and swim near the surface in the deep.
Lifespan and Development: Nagyr are hatched from large eggs, new-born being around the size of a small dog. Within the space of a few months they then start growing, and after about half a year reach an average height of three meters, with a length of around five to six meters. At this point they have also developed a good speed and strength, making them tamable and ready to ride. They will continue to grow ever so slightly, as well as increase in speed and strength with the right training and diet. This is the biggest most will grow.
Diet: These big lizards feed on smaller animals like bats and rodents, as well as any fish they find in the water. They need to be fed plenty of meat to survive, as well as grow strong and fast enough to be useful as a mount.
Temperament: In the wild, these creatures can be very territorial. Any person or animal going near their portion of river or lake will see the creatures gaze watching very carefully. One step too close and it will charge at immense speeds of around 40 mph. With rows of sharp teeth, a heavy tail and claws, the creature will only stop pursuing if the person is killed or leaves the immediate vicinity of the body of water the creature considers its own. When tamed, these creatures are much more friendly towards people, but are as territorial - this time of their rider. If their rider is at risk, nothing will stop this animal from protecting them.
Abilities: Nagyr Lizards have incredible swimming powers to match their running speeds. On average they reach speeds of 40 mph on land and even faster at around 50 mph in water. This is why they are used as mounts, as this movement and power make them incredibly dangerous to enemies and useful to their riders. As well as this, their brute strength makes them a force to be reckoned with.
